The weather is heating up and so is CWJC.  We want to be HOT for Jesus and to do His work in ministering to women who need Him.  We want His love to shine through us touching those around us with His healing and life-changing power.  Our logo suggests that we are a "Hand up, not a Hand Out" ministry.  In reading WHEN HELPING HURTS by Corbett and Fikkert, we learned that working with the poor takes time, friendship, and mentoring, and that material gifts may hurt, not help.  I think that CWJC has been on target in these areas, but of course, there is always room for improvement.  Pray for us as we try to improve our ministry.  Pray that we will have wisdom from God as we make a few changes.

Women, if you want to make a difference in the lives of women, please call me at 653-0706.  God will bless you as you give to Him through ministering to women in this way. Come help us make CWJC better.  It's always better when there are more helpers.  There are many ways to help, and you can choose how much or how little time you have to spend with us.  Just come!
